A Roman copper-alloy radiate or nummus dating to the period c. AD 260-402 (Reece Period 13-21). Unclear reverse type. Mint uncertain. This coin is concreted to what appear to be two other coins below it, both in varying states of repair following probable heat damage. The dimensions relate to the widest point and thickness of the whole group, as is the weight. The uppermost coin is c. 16.2mm in diameter, but has not been able to be identified.

A copper-alloy uniface weight for a noble. The weight is circular and flat with a raised design on one side only. The design is of a facing ship with fore and aft castles. It is 16.9mm in diameter, 4.1mm thick and weighs 6.28 grams, 96.9 grains. The metal is pitted in places, especially on the lower surface. A full weight noble would have weighed 108 grains between AD 1412 and 1464 (Withers and Withers 1995, 68); the earlier noble had a higher mass. A fragment from a cast copper-alloy spoon of post-medieval date. The fragment comprises the top of the bowl and a short length of the handle tapering like a 'rat-tail' on the underside of the bowl. The handle is trapezoidal in cross-section. The break to the top of the bowl is diagonal and old, around the point at which the handle terminates. The fragment is largely grey but with some small patches of light-green corrosion product suggesting a leaded copper alloy.

A copper alloy T-shaped brooch of early Roman date. This Wilsford type brooch is incomplete in as much as it is missing its pin. The cylindrical wings conceal the copper-alloy axis bar for the hinged pin. Their upper surfaces are decorated with two incised lines at each end. A fragment of a post-medieval copper-alloy pedestal type seal matrix with an oval sectioned handle, now mostly missing. The face of the seal is oval with a basic incised border around a ?weeping eye, the tears rendered by incised wavy lines below. The handle is broken just above the back of the seal face but would probably have had a suspension loop at the end; alternatively this may have travelled towards the centre of a multi-die matrix. Read (1995, 152) illustrates post-medieval seal matrices which he dates to the 17th century.
