A corroded cast copper-alloy double-looped buckle frame of post-medieval date (c. AD 1500-1650), incomplete in so far as it is missing its pin. The loops are of pointed oval form; they incurve towards the pin bar. The pin bar itself is narrowed and terminates in a small pointed knop at each end. The points are central triangular protrusions on the outer edges; one features a transverse groove which would have acted as a pin rest.
