A virtually complete copper-alloy clog or shoe clasp of late post-medieval date (AD c. 1790 - c. 1850). The clasp is sub-rectangular in plan with an integral 'anchor'-shaped hook on the lower surface, abraded at one tip. At the opposite end the attachment hook has been broken off. The main body is formed of three groups of transverse bars, one centrally and one at each end, with recessed V-shaped protrusions between the.
