A long cross penny of Edward II c. 1312- 1314 AD, Class 11b3 [Ed.11b] Most of the pennies of Edward 11, are very similar to Edward 1st. stylelistically the two reignes are also similar, with virtually identical reverses and minor differences on the obverse. The obverse legend reads EDWAR(R) ANGL DNS HYB, which is different from most of Edward 1’s pennies except for some of the later classes. An incomplete copper alloy slide key handle for a tumbler lock, c. early 2nd century AD. Length 42 .65 mm. Topped by a suspension loop with transverse mouldings just below the loop. The grip is rectangular in section, tapering slightly outwards towards the base. The lower portion with the iron teeth of the key are missing.

An incomplete Roman copper alloy Rosette (Thistle) brooch dating c. 20- 60 AD. Length 24.35 mm. The spring housing and the lower portion of the foot are missing. The arched portion of the bow that remains is doubly grooved, as is the footplate. This example is of the type without a repousse plate applied to the lozenge shaped plate. A late 5th to 6th century early Anglo-Saxon saucer brooch with an angular rim. A central ring-and-dot motif is enclosed by six running spirals with tendrils forming pointed lobes. There is a single raised narrow border with a repeated punched dot decoration at the perimeter. The reverse has a single perforated hinge with the remains of an iron pin with the catch plate intact. Possible mineralised textile remains on both upper and lower surfaces. Diameter 37.58mm, weight 17.50g, thickness 1.29 mm.

A Roman Colchester derivative brooch of double lug type. The spring is secured by passing the external chord and the axial bar through a lug with two perforations behind the head. The side wings are semi cylindrical. The forward hook of type 90 can still be seen in the crest which runs on a flat ridge down the head towards the bow, flanked by cavetto mouldings, and maybe decorated in various ways.
