A Medieval silver band measuring about 90 mm in length, and 12 mm in width. The band is collared, the central section decorated with a series of engraved rectangles and zigzags. Placed within it is a single line of text, which reads +IASPAR X MELCIOR X BA(?)LTU(?)SAR signifying the names of the three Magi (Caspar, Melchior , Balthazar). The names of the Magi were invoked as an amuletic charm throughout the Middle Ages. The inscription on the band seems to be complete, though, occasionally, it can terminate in an additional phrase (such as ‘in God is all’). The band is …

A Modern silver gilt finger ring with green stone setting (1800-1900). The thin hoop has a D-shaped cross-section and is moulded decoratively on either side of the bezel. The filigree decoration forms a small ring, than a triangle with rounded corners; a ring and dot, and finally a mirrored curling 'S' shape in a scroll motif. A Romano-British copper alloy harness fitting, a terret or a rein ring ( 1st century AD). The object comprises two circular conjoined loops; (diameter of each approximately 23.43mm); the loops have a triangular cross-section (thickness 6.04mm), with the peak forming the inner edges. The top of each of the loops is slightly flattened, probably through wear. A late middle Bronze Age copper alloy fragment of necklet or a bracelet (1250 – 1150BC). The fragment is made from a rod of copper alloy with an irregular cross-section. Near the curved end (possibly leading to the terminal) the cross-section is 2.64mm in diameter and is an irregular oval in shape, midway along the length it thickens to 3.70mm and becomes D-shaped and then it tapers to 3.44mm and changes to circular. A middle - late Bronze Age copper alloy fragment of a socketed spearhead (1500-800BC). The fragment comprises the tip of the spearhead. The tip is hollow with a raised, rounded midrib. The hollow of the tip has a broad oval cross-section. There is some damage to both the edges and the majority of one of the blade wings is missing. The damaged areas have a pale green rough patina whilst the rest of the surface has a mid green smooth patina. Dimensions: length: 44.18mm; width: 20.42mm; thickness: 9.44mm; weight: 15.29g.

A late Bronze Age copper alloy socketed axe head (1000 – 800BC). The socket is sub-circular, a square with very rounded corners, (27.87mm x 26.51mm). The edge of the socket is decorated with a pronounced rim and a parallel raised transverse band just below. Both these moulded bands have a semi-circular cross-section. A Mesolithic (probably) flint flake (8,300-4,500BC). The flake is a secondary flake with approximately 10% cortex remaining on the dorsal surface. Also on the dorsal surface there are two flake removal scars. Fine retouch has been worked unifacially from the dorsal surface 11.19mm along the right edge starting at the tip. The plate is trilobed with two rivet holes arranged along the midline, one near the hook and one near the base.
