Complete d-shaped finger-ring of the mourning/memorial/memento-mori type. The exterior of the ring is heavily worked with deeply incised decoration. A skull is the central motif, to its right a reserve of cross-hatched lozenges, an oval-shaped flower with lozenges at its centre, a reserve of cross-hatched lozenges, a further flower, and a final reserve of cross-hatched lozenges, before returning to the skull. There are traces of black enamel surviving in the incised decoration.

A medieval silver annular brooch. The frame is formed from silver wire, half of which is round in section, while the other half has been formed into square wire, twisted to give the appearance of cabling, with punched decoration running along the twists. There is a constriction for the pin (now missing), at which point the brooch is broken, probably at the point of the original soldering. The brooch is otherwise in good condition. The brooch dates to the 13th-14th century. This is a well-known type of medieval brooch. See SUSS-7AC4AA; HAMP-999097 and DOR-715865 for similar examples.

A medieval gold finger-ring dating to the period c.AD 1200-1500. The bezel of the ring is rectangular in plan, and in cross-section it widens where it meets the band before narrowing to its flat base. It is hollow, and its upper surface forms a border around a polished rectangular blue gemstone or glass setting within it. The stone exhibits post-depositional damage, comprising a chip to one corner and a diagonal gouge situated slightly off-centre. Description:
A complete silver whistle dating to the post medieval period (c.AD 1600-1700).
The object is formed of sheet metal and is cast as one piece into a broadly cylindrical shape with a tapered end to form a D-shaped mouth piece. The other end is rounded. Towards the centre of the tub is a cut D-shaped sound hole and in the centre of the underside is a loop with a single chain link threaded through.

A near complete copper alloy Roman Trumpet brooch dating from AD 100-200. The bow of the brooch has an angular profile and an angular D shaped cross section. The bow tapers from a flared head to an abraded point, the foot knop is lost. The head of the brooch is complete, oval in plan, and tapers into the bow. The reverse of the head is concave and has a cast projecting bar which divides the head into two parts. The bar is broken and abraded and the spring and pin are lost. A complete silver vervel dating to the Post medieval period (c.AD 1600-1720).
The object is circular in shape with a round hole in the centre for attachment to a hunting bird`s leg. The name of the owner is inscribed in one of the flat faces (Sr, Rob Throckmorton of *). This is likely to be Sir Robert Throckmorton 1st Baronet (1599-1650) or possibly Sir Robert Throckmorton 3Rd Baronet (1662-1720). The opposing face is blank apart from a small amount of dark grey patina and some light scratches. This form of vervel is classified as Type A (Lewis and Richardson 2017).

A distorted cast copper alloy forked spacer from a composite strap-end of medieval date (1300-1450 AD). The spacer has a circular frame, with a lozengiform collared projection, probably intended as an acorn knop, from the opposing end two triangular shaped prongs of a forked spacer project. Apart from the acorn knop it is undecorated and finished with deep file scratches. The knop is thicker than the rest of the flat frame. The forked spacer is a mid grey-green colour with an even but abraded patina which covers all surfaces. A series of diagonal filed marks are present on both faces …
