Description: A gold post-medieval Half-unite of Charles I dating to AD 1643. Civil War period, Thomas Bushell's mint, Oxford (North 2395). This coin has been bent in the form of a love token and has a circular perforation to the right of the bust located at 2 o'clock on the obverse. The circular perforation has been made from the obverse.
Obverse: Crowned bust left with X behind. Bust extends to bottom of coin.

A probable cast copper alloy nail cleaner with a strap end. The object has a hooked tip rather like a bird's head at one end which broadens to a strap end with a rivet, indicating that perhaps there were more tools attached. The strap end is now slightly bent. There are six incised lines across the strip before the hook and five similar on either side of the tip. It is 43.86mm long, 6.91mm wide at the strap end, and weighs 2.6 grams. Roman.

A complete cast copper alloy sub rectangular buckle with plate. The frame is fitted with a sheet metal roller. The frame is decorated with four raised vertical grooves at each corner. The pin is of copper alloy and tapers to a point. The slightly tapering buckle plate is recessed and is of folded sheet copper alloy with a hole for the pin and held in place with a single rivet at the other end. The buckle dates betweeen 1350 and 1400. The frame measures16mm x 14.19mm, and the plate 24.10mm x 10.26mm. A similar example can be found in Whitehead No 139.

A medieval cast copper alloy shield shaped harness mount (c. 13th century). The design is heraldic, decorated with a paly of nine with traces of red enamel and gilding. On the reverse is the remains of a circular stud.
The length is 29.26mm, the width 24.16mm, the thickness 2.41mm, the weight is 9.26 g
This pendant has been noted by Baker (2015, 9; note 34). It probably relates to the Counts of Provence, possibly the kingdom of Aragon; presumably for Queen Eleanor of Provence (married Henry III in 1236, queen mother until 1291).

A fragment of a Bronze Age sword at the junction betwen the hilt and the blade. There are two complete and two incomplete rivet holes for the fastening of the handle. This is a symmetrical fragment, suggesting that it has been carefully broken, ready for recycling. There is a similar example, SF-B63C34, which has been dated to the late Bronze Age.
The length is 42.89mm and the maximum width 38.19mm. The weight is 37.44 grams.

A fragment of a copper alloy palstave blade of middle Bronze Age date.
The fragment is broken below the stop ridge. A flaw in the metal on the broken face probably accounts for the break at this point. There is a single rib below the stop ridge. The blade has inward bowing sides which flare towards the bottom, the thickness tapering to the point where it terminates in a convex cutting edge. A complete Medieval cast gilded copper alloy harness pendant. The pendant is lozenge shaped, with a circular integral suspension loop. The loop is set perpendicular to the face of the pendant, on a short, rectangular sectioned neck. The front is decorated with an uncertain motif, possibly part of a heraldic motif or a motif from a badge.There are small traces of gilding on the front face. The pendant is 43.12mm high, 26.11mm in width and weighs 9.09 grams. It dates to the 13th or 14th century.

An incomplete Post Medieval cast copper alloy bell. The body of the bell is spherical, has been cast in one piece and has two holes in the top half. There is an integral suspension loop, which has been drilled to create a circular hole. There is cast sunburst decoration on the upper hemisphere, the lower, slightly damaged hemisphere is decorated with two cherubs' faces edged with radiating lines. No marker's mark or pellet is present. This type of crotal bell is 16th-17th century in date. The height of the bell is 47.84mm, the diameter is 36.11mm and the weight 45.17 grams.

A modern silvered medallion of Wiltshire Friendly Society. On one face is a depiction of T. H .S. Sotheron-Estcourt. On the reverse is WILTS FRIENDLY SOCIETY FOUNDED 1828 surrounded by a laurel wreath. The medallion is 45.82mm in diameter, 4.61mm thick and weighs 30.90 grams. T..H.S. Sotheron-Estcourt (1801-1876) was a Member of Parliament for several Wiltshire constituencies.

An incomplete cast lead-alloy medieval pilgrim's ampulla. The artefact is flask-shaped, with a rounded, damaged semi-circular lower chamber. The top is creased together. No loop/handle lugs survive.
One face bears numerous incised grooves to create a scallop shell, best classified as Spencer type 2. The other face has been badly damaged and no decoration can be discerned.
The ampulla is 32.78mm in length, 26.62mm wide, 7.42mm thick and weighs 23.73 grams
