This object is made from copper alloy, and is comparable in shape to a capital letter 'I'. One side of the object has a loop at one end and two holes at the other end for a similar loop that is now missing. The four corners each have a rounded knop at the end. The reverse of the object is hollow. The surface of the object is smooth. The reverse has concretions of iron. Length: 36.03mm; width: 25.77mm; weight: 9.97g.

Forty-four sherds of light to mid creamey yellow medieval pottery probably dating from 1250-1350 AD. The ceramic vessel sherds are all extremely abraided and are likely to have been deposited as part of the manuring process in this location as the area is known to have been under ridge and furrow.
