An incomplete copper-alloy 'Birdlip' or 'Beaked Bow' type brooch of late Iron Age to early Roman date, c.50 BC - AD 50. The brooch comprises an ovate head from the reverse of which a corroded spring mechanism projects. The pin no longer remains. The front of the head extends straight out into a circular sectioned upper bow, possibly with ridge and groove decoration though corrosion and wear makes this difficult to determine with certainty. A probably complete copper-alloy pendant of Post-Medieval date, c.AD 1500 -1700. The pendant is sub-rectangular, flaring out slightly to the lower edge, with an openwork grid design. The front surface is decorated with faint low relief beading and a large knob topped rivet at the centre. The shank of the rivet projects and is flattened to the reverse. An integral loop projects from the centre of the upper edge and the reverse is slightly concave and undecorated. The metal has a light green patina and is worn. The pendant is 26.7mm long, 17.9mm wide, 5.4mm thick and weighs 3.7g.

A complete copper-alloy buckle of Post-Medieval date, c.AD 1720 - 1790. The buckle is ovate with a drilled frame for a separate spindle. Internal curved transverse bars are present to either side of the spindle which itself has a double spiked tongue. Iron corrosion is present where the spindle meats the frame. The outer frame bears ribbed decoration. The metal has a dark green patina and is in fair condition. The buckle is 17.1mm long, 16.4mm wide, 2.6mm thick and weighs 1.3g. A similar example is illustrated in Whitehead, p.114, no.738 and is dated to c.AD 1720 - 1790.

An incomplete copper-alloy Trumpet brooch of Roman date, c. AD 75 - 175. The head is D-shaped with an integral loop projecting from the upper curved edge. A double lug hinge mechanism is present to the reverse through which an axis bar is retained. The loop of a pin remains around the bar though the shaft has been lost to a worn break. A D-sectioned bow extends from the front of the head to a semi-circular acanthus moulding flanked by single banded semi-circular collars. An incomplete copper-alloy strap or harness fitting of Roman date, c.AD 50 - 200. The fitting is a pointed ovate in plan with a central raised circular boss within a circumferential recess. The pointed terminals are also raised. A break is present from one edge, extending into the central recess. Two integral, circular sectioned shanks project from the reverse of the terminals, representing the remains of an attachment loop. A complete lead-alloy spindle whorl of medieval to post-medieval date, c.AD 1200 - 1800. The spindle whorl is bi-conical with a central perforation running through it. Both surfaces are decorated with irregularly spaced raised lines radiating from the central perforation. Each resulting trapezoidal cells houses three raised pellets.
