An incomplete copper-alloy mirror case of medieval date, c.AD 1150 - 1450. The case comprises two circular discs with raised edges. The base disc has two pierced lugs projecting from one edge and a single pierced lug on the opposite edge. The upper disc, the lid, has a single lug fitted between the double lugs of the lower disc which is held in place with a copper-alloy rivet forming a hinge for the case. An incomplete copper-alloy object of probable Post-Medieval date, c.AD 1500 - 1800. The object comprises a rectangular, D-sectioned hook with integral pointed ovate terminal. A raise collar is present at the junction of the hook and terminal. The terminal is decorated with two concentric circular grooves. A circular depression is present to the reverse of the terminal, in line with the central recessed circle on the obverse. The reverse is otherwise undecorated.
The metal has a dark brown patina and is worn. The object is 38.2mm long, 13.9mm wide, 1.9mm thick and weighs 6.1g.
