A complete lead-alloy bag seal of late Post-Medieval date, c.AD 1750 - 1950. The seal is circular with a sub-rectangular section and is comprised of a single disc of metal which is perforated by two holes running across its diameter. The hole would have been for wire or textile ligatures which were used to secure a bag. Both sides are worn leaving no remaining detail. The metal is a mid-grey patina and is worn. The seal is 18.9mm long, 16.2mm wide, 3.6mm thick and weighs 5.2g.

The top is shaped to form an integral loop handle, though the middle portion is lost to worn breaks. The metal has a mid-grey/white patina and is worn. The weight is 27.6mm tall, 35.9mm wide, 22.7mm thick and weighs 327g. A similar example is depicted in Biggs & Withers (2000), p.32, no.74.

A folded or rolled lead-alloy strip of uncertain date. The strip has a rectangular section and has been folded/rolled four times along its length. No marks or decoration are visible. The metal has a mid-white patina and is worn. The object is 19.1mm long, 14mm wide, 8.9mm thick and weighs 17.1g. Rolled and/or folded lead alloy strips are commonly believed to be Roman curse tablets. However, comparing this object to examples of verified curse tablets/rolls (http://curses.csad.ox.ac.uk), suggests the present example is of a more modern date and a weight, or lead ingot.

A complete copper-alloy thimble of medieval date, c.AD 1300 - 1600. The thimble has a circular base from which the sides taper inwards, folding at the top to form the flattened crown. A series of hand-punched concentric pits extend from the crown towards the base where they terminate at a very faint single grooved circumferential border. The buckle has concave sides and a rounded front with a single lobed knop. The buckle has a mid blackish-brown patina and is worn. The buckle is 28.1mm long, 26.8mm wide, 4.3mm thick and weighs 5.2g. A similar example is illustrated in Whitehead p.28, no.145 and is dated to circa AD 1500 - 1650.
