The front face is decorated with a central raised circular pellet surrounded by an inner concentric circle of smaller circular pellets. A thumbnail scraper of early to middle Neolithic date circa 4000 - 3500BC. The scraper is formed on a cream coloured tertiary flake of flint. The scraper is sub-triangular in plan, with a pointed distal end and rounded proximal end. The dorsal face has several removals / flake facets and the retouch is best described as being invasive, scaled and semi-abrupt. A cast lead alloy token of later Medieval or Post-Medieval date (1200-1800). The token is sub-circular in plan. The decoration on the front face of this token is that of a cross fourchee with pellets in between which is probably meant to simulate the medieval penny. This consists of a fourchee in slight relief consisting of ribs which emanate from the centre and finish at the edge of the token with pellets in between also in slight relief. The reverse of the token is undecorated.
The design fits in to Powell's (2012) Type 14b (cross, imitating a Medieval penny). The token is light …

The spindle whorl is broadly circular in plan and rectangular / flat in cross section, although the edges are irregular due to plough damage. There is a central sub-circular perforation which is 10.5mm diameter. The internal edge also has an oval shaped void in the side wall from the casting process. A cast copper alloy probable livery badge dating to the 16th or 17th centuries; the badge is in the form of a talbot, a breed of large hunting dog. The talbot is depicted walking, facing left with its tongue protruding from its open mouth. The front foot of the talbot is complete and the other three legs and feet are missing. An incomplete fragment from a much eroded cast bronze (copper alloy) rapier of Middle Bronze Age date (1500-1150BC). The fragment consists of part of the lower blade a rapier, the tip has been previously recorded (HESH-3B6C58) and was recovered by a different finder from the same field. A Medieval copper-alloy strap end dating to circa (AD 1250-1450). The strap end is comprised of two plates which are sub-rectangular in plan, tapering towards a curved terminal with a small knoped protrusion. One of the plates has an intact trefoil upper edge, the opposing plates upper edge is damaged. The remains of a forked spacer are present within the plates. Both the upper edge and terminal end comprise a centrally placed rivet. The surface is undecorated. The object has a corroded mid to dark green patina.
