A cast copper alloy double looped sub-oval buckle of probable later medieval - post medieval date circaAD 1350-1650. The buckle frame is sub-oval in plan with rounded edges and narrowed waist. The buckle consists of two sub oval loops with an integrally cast strap bar that is recessed from the edge of the frame. Each loop is similar in size and bevelled on the inside. The frame is flat on the reverse. The strap bar is narrowed and there is no evidence of a pin rest. The pin is missing. An incomplete cast lead alloy token of later medieval or post-medieval date (1200-1800). The token is irregular in plan due to damage possible from the plough soil. The decoration on the front face is in relief, this consists of a series of ribs. However due to wear and corrosion it is difficult to identify the design and to categorise the token using Powell's typology. The reverse of the token is undecorated. A copper alloy button possibly dating from the post-medieval to early modern period circa (AD 1700-1900). The button is possibly military or royal livery, with a convex obverse. THe button is oval in cross section and also has a convex reverse. The cast moulded design on the obverse shows the royal coat of arms, with a lion and unicorn (rampant) holding the royal shield with crown above. A complete circular lead probable trade weight of possible Post-Medieval date, circa 17th - 18th centuries. The weight has flat surfaces on the upper and lower faces. The obverse face has a stamped mark which could represent either 'IB' for the weight or may be an official stamp that represent the initials of an authority or establishment. A fragment of a Post Medieval ceramic vessel, probably a drinking cup dating to the 17th to 18th centuries. The fragment is a base sherd from a black glaze ware vessel. The sherd is irregular in shape, comprising of a flat base with a curved edge and a small section of the vessel wall. It is glazed inside and out with a black glaze, including the underside. The fabric is an orange red in colour with small white coloured inclusions. The vessel was probably a tyg (a multi-handled mug) or drinking cup. The vessel would have been made on a wheel. An incomplete cast copper alloy (Bronze) flat axe of Early Bronze Age date c. 2250-1900 BC. The axe is incomplete and only the cutting edge and lower blade survive, the butt and upper blade are lost due to an abraded but relatively recent break. It is very possibly that the other part is present in the field in which this was found. The condition of the axe is poor - small areas of a deep brown coloured surface patina are present but the majority has been removed by laminating corrosion. An incomplete late Roman/ Early-Medieval (AD 400-600) penannular brooch of Fowler's Type D and Booth's type D2. The frame is sub-circular, and oval in cross-section. The pin is missing. The brooch is made from a single cylindrical piece of copper alloy that has been bent into a circle, with the outer edges bent back to form terminals lying flat against the frame.
