A cast copper alloy fragment of an 11th century Anglo-Scandinavian cheek piece, now extremely worn. It consists of a projecting arm and is broken across a circlar perforation (for attachment). It measures 43.11x19.69mm (at its widest part) x4.66mm in max.thickness and weighs 9.6g.
The object has been formed from one solid piece of copper alloy, with a long tapering arm and lobed end 7.61mm in width. The circular perforation (less than half the edge of which remains) is c.8mm in diameter. To one side are two worn projections. All decoration is now worn and lost but would originally …

A Post-Medieval copper alloy Nuremberg jetton of Hanns Krawinckel II (master 1586-1635) of Rose and Orb type, measuring 21mm in diameter and weighing 0.7g. It is very worn and bent.
Obverse: Three crowns and three lys around central rosette HANNS KRAWINCKEL IN NVR.
Reverse: HEIT ROTT MORGEN DOTT (red today, dead tomorrow) around Imperial Orb within tressure of three arches.
A similar jetton can be seen in Mitchiner, no.1580/9.
