A post medieval two-disc German lead cloth seal c.1500-1700. Obverse : the letter A in a border of short rays. Reverse : has the central portion of a stylised pine cone. Diameter 20mm and weight 5g. The pine cone is on the heraldic badge of Augsburg and the letter A its initial.

A probably post medieval cast copper-alloy bi-face trade token. Obverse : the initial letters I B Reverse : a poorly molded depiction of an anchor. Discussion: Most tokens of this form come in lead, this example clearly shows affinities with such tokens so the powell classification is used here. Such tokens had a wide variety of potential uses such as tallies, gaming pieces, tickets, weights, etc. and are believed to have been locally produced; they are therefore difficult to date precisely. A very corroded copper-alloy uni-face square 2.8 gram coin weight dating to the 15th/16th centuries. The coin weight is 13.4mm square in plan and has a double lined crowned shield with three fleur de lis upon it, all within a double scribed circle on one face. There is another fleur with a coronet above it, either side of the shield. Used to weigh the French Ecu d'or coin, circa 1422-1550. The reverse face is plain and flat with possible file marks. (Similar to Withers No 296)

A slightly damaged and corroded medieval cast lead alloy pointed oval (vesica shaped) seal matrix c.1200-1350. Flat and pointed oval in plan with a suspension loop on the top that is now torn open. The face has a linear depiction of what appears to be, a pointed religious building with two arched windows at the base and a cross pattee on the top The inscription around it apears to read '+S'GODELEVE [F]IL' ABLE', This translates as 'Seal of Godelieve daughter of Able'. An incomplete cast copper-alloy open-work hooked tag of post-medieval date (c. 1500-1650). Description: There is an integral sub-rectangular fixing loop above the central open-work plate that terminates in the inward curved hook, the tip of which has been broken off and is missing. The reverse is plain and flat. Measurements: Length 31.3mm, width 16.2mm, thickness 2.0mm and weight 3.1 gram.

A late medieval to post medieval cast copper alloy rotary casket key probably dating between the 13th-16th centuries. The bow is of near-circular form with an outside diameter of 14.2mm. The shank is of oval cross-section (5.8mm x 3.9mm) and is solid throughout. The bit is square in form with a cleft on each side. The surface has a dark-green patchy patina. The key has a length of 36.4mm and a weight of 6.5 gram.

A fragment of cast copper-alloy rotary lock key representing the bow, likely 14th -15th century in date. The bow is a quadrelobed frame and and this creates openwork quatrefoil pattern in plan. Each lobe is decorated with two small tirangular protrusion creating curved concave gaps between each lobe. The fragment is patinated a dark green colour. This key fits Ward-Perkins key type VI which is dated to the 14th or 15th centuries, this example is a very ornate example. Slightly less ornate complete examples are represented on the PAS database such as WMID-8D4403.
