A cast copper alloy double looped 'spectacle' buckle c.1350-1650. Quite roughly cast. The frame is bevelled on the top both inside and outside and is waisted adjacent to the strap bar that shows rust marks indicating an iron pin. The reverse is plain and flat.

A post medieval cast copper alloy double looped buckle c.1500-1650. Very large for it's type measuring 43.4mm x 32.9mm The frame is oval in plan with a cross section of a shallow C shape as the top is rounded and the reverse is cast concave. The frame is waisted adjacent to the narrowed strap bar with angular knops either side. The strap bar is acute triangular shaped in cross section.

A post medieval copper alloy sewing ring probably dating to c.1500-1650. Manufactured from 0.75mm sheet copper alloy with no visible seam. Now bent and distorted, the body slightly flares from approximately 15mm diameter at the top to 18mm at the bottom. The circular indentations are arranged in a spiral form leaving a plain band at both the top and bottom.

An incomplete cast copper alloy part of a shoe buckle c.1690-1720. Only part of the chape loop and the tongue remaining. The chape loop would have been trapezoidal in plan and attached to the buckle by a spindle. There is a makers mark of COOK on one side of the chape. HAMP-1E8677 shows a complete shoe buckle with this type of chape. (Whitehead - Buckles Page 103 No 662)
