Post medieval composite, two part circular button with central pimple, probably made of tombac (copper-zinc alloy). The front is plain and slightly domed apart from the pimple and a border of two rows of alternative spaced semi-circles filled with diagonal hatchings. The back is flat with a possible central attachment. The button is probably a two piece button of the late 17th - 18th centurys. It is 27.9mm in diameter, 13.7mm thick and weighs 16.56g. Post Medieval glass bottle fragment comprising of a body sherd with seal attached. The seal is circular with a rounded edge. Part of the edge is broken; c. 5% of the seal is now missing. The break is old and worn. The front of the seal is stamped with a circular border made of repeating annulets with the legend 'I Wilkins' and a cross design underneath. The body sherd is curved in profile, broadly rectangular in plan, extending to the right of the seal. The glass is green and typical of the Post Medieval period. Post medieval lead alloy cloth seal. Fragment of a two or four part seal consisting of the central plug of lead, circular in section with the front disk and a fragment of the back disc attached. The front is stamped with the portcullis with a B underneath, surrounded by a legend, now illegible. It measures 18.1mm in diameter and 4.6mm thick. It weighs 4.82g.

1. Mid to light grey flint, small pale flecks. C. 15% of cortex remains on right edge when viewed from the dorsal face. The bulb of percussion remains at the proximal end of the ventral face. It measures 19.8mm long, 11.6mm wide and weighs 1.13g.

Neolithic flint blade core of dark grey flint with a light grey patination. C. 25% of the surface has a fossiliferrous deposit from the flint nodule from which the core was amde. The core is angular with a flat top and tapering removals. There are long straight and thin parallel flake removals around three quarters of exterior.
It measures 42.6mm long, 39.9mm wide, 28.2mm thick and weighs 55.49g. It dates from the Neolithic, 4000-2500 BC.

Tertiary flake of dark grey opaque flint with a heavy pale grey to white patination and small orange mottles of iron staining on the surface on the ventral and dorsal faces. Part of the bulb of percussion remains at the proximal end of the ventral face and there is a hinge fracture at the distal end.
It measures 24.9mm wide, 22.6mm long, 6.9mm thick and weighs 4.25g.
It dates from the late Neolithic to early Bronze Age, 2500-1500 BC.

Large scraper of mid grey flint with a light grey patination, large pale mottles and small patches of iron staining. The scraper is worked from a proximal fragment with the bulb of percussion on the ventral face visible. There is also a large flake removal across the bulb of percussion from the striking platform. There is short, semi abrupt retouch worked from the ventral face spanning c.50% of the circumference. The scraper is worked from a proximal fragment with the bulb of percussion on the ventral face visible and faint ripples across the surface. There are long paralell removals across the ventral face. There is short, semi abrupt retouch worked from the dorsal face spanning c.35% of the circumference.
It measures 34.3mm long, 35.2mm wide, 12.5mm thick and weighs 15.56g. It probably dates to the later Neolithic or Bronze Age, 2500-800 BC.

Flake of mid to dark grey flint with a white to pale grey patination covering c.90% of the surface and small patches of iron staining. The flake has been badly damaged by plow action and is now very worn and broken. The bulb of percussion is present on the ventral face with visible evenly spaced waves across the face. There is a flake removal scar on the dorsal face towards the distal end.
It measures 26.7mm long, 32.1mm wide, 7.4mm thick and weighs 5.72g. It dates from the Neolithic period to the Early Bronze Age, 2150-1500 BC.

Possible failed leaf arrowhead of mid to dark grey flint with small pale mottles. The ventral face invasion retouch on both edges and a flake removal scar to the distal end. There is invasive parallel retouch on the dorsal face across the proximal end and the right edge. The bulb of percussion has been removed and the waves of percussion are faint. The distal end tapers in width, ending in a crescentic notch.

A fragment of a broken polished stone adze originally thought to be of Neolithic date, now thought to be a modern, Ethnographic, example. The fragment comprises of part of the blade end of the adze. It is now 'D' shaped in plan with a straight break along the width of the head and a convex curved cutting edge. It is pointed oval in section with convex faces and slightly flattened points at each side, one face is flatter than the other suggesting iit is an adze rather than an axe. Cast lead vessel repair (pot mend). It is roughly oval in plan and H-shaped in section with two irregularly shaped outer sides, one larger than the other. In the groove created between the outer sides there are fragment of the original pot. The pottery has a bright orange fabric. The whole object measures 48.0mm long, 25.4mm wide and 12.4mm thick. It weighs 70.5g.
Pot mends of this form are found in both Roman and Medieval periods, as a common way to repair broken pottery. The fabric appears similar to Medieval cooking pots although it is too fragmentary to be completely certain.
