Post medieval lead alloy cloth seal. Fragment of a two or four part seal consisting of the central plug of lead, circular in section with the front disk and a fragment of the back disc attached. The front is stamped with the portcullis with a B underneath, surrounded by a legend, now illegible. It measures 18.1mm in diameter and 4.6mm thick. It weighs 4.82g. The portcullis was "the main design for alnage seals in the late Tudor period... and continued in use into the early seventeenth century" (Egan 1995:9). Post Medieval glass bottle fragment comprising of a body sherd with seal attached. The seal is circular with a rounded edge. Part of the edge is broken; c. 5% of the seal is now missing. The break is old and worn. The front of the seal is stamped with a circular border made of repeating annulets with the legend 'I Wilkins' and a cross design underneath. The body sherd is curved in profile, broadly rectangular in plan, extending to the right of the seal. The glass is green and typical of the Post Medieval period. Post medieval composite, two part circular button with central pimple, probably made of tombac (copper-zinc alloy). The front is plain and slightly domed apart from the pimple and a border of two rows of alternative spaced semi-circles filled with diagonal hatchings. The back is flat with a possible central attachment. The button is probably a two piece button of the late 17th - 18th centurys. It is 27.9mm in diameter, 13.7mm thick and weighs 16.56g.
