An incomplete late Post-Medieval to Modern lead alloy/pewter button. Weight is 5.83g. The body of the button is circular in shape with a diameter of 24.1mm. The body is primarily flat with just a hint of a convex curve to the front and concave curve to the reverse. The edge of the body has a thickness of 1.8mm. The moulded button's front has a beaded border of closely set pellets and inner concentric linear circular border all of which occupy the outer 2.9mm. It weighs 4.10g and is made from a rectangular length of metal that has a width of 8.2mm and thickness of 1.2mm. A fragment of a lead alloy toy dating to the Post-Medieval period, probably within the AD1600-1700 range. This fragment is the butt end and stock of a toy riffle gun and it weighs 6.98g. It has an incomplete maximum length of 31.4mm and maximum thickness of 4.7mm. The fragment has a pointed-oval cross-section and a sub-triangular shape. A lead-alloy disc, of uncertain date, probably used as a token or possibly a gaming piece. One side has a motif in relief, of a head right wearing a hat, ear-length bushy hair poking out below. The head is probably of a male. The reverse side is probably blank making this a uniface artefact. Weight is 2.14g, diameter is 17.5mm, thickness is 2.1mm. This disc has a very fine crack running across the approximate centre and may indicate that the object has been slightly bent.

A circular perforation of 3.0mm diameter is persent, set off centre and at a closest measurement of 6.5mm from the edge of the disc. A lead alloy artefact, possibly a deformed musket ball, weight or gaming piece of uncertain date. This item weighs 24.11g (0.85oz). It has the appearance of a deformed sphere from one angle, panettone bread shape from another angle (relatively vertical sides, flaring out slightly towards the top with a top that seems to spill over the sides just at the top), and deformed cylinder with chamfered corners leading to a slightly concave end from yet another angle. The maximum diameter is 18.7mm with a length of 13.0mm.

A uniface lead token believed to date from c. AD 1250-1800. This token weighs 4.5g, has a diameter of 21.9mm and thickness of 2.8mm. The obverse is decorated with a moulded cross, whose arms extend across the whole diameter of the artefact, and a single pellet per quarter all of which are in relief. The pellets have a diameter of c.2.6mm and the arms of the cross a width of c.1.0mm. The token has been slightly bent and as such no longer sits completely flat on a level surface. A lead weight of uncertain date. This weight is sub-circular in plan with a maximum base diameter of 23.90mm tapering upwards to a maximum diameter at the top of 17.41mm. The weight has a height of 16.67mm. This item weighs 42.11g (1.49oz). Through the centre is a vertical circular perforation of 10.77mm diameter at the base and 8.98mm diameter at the top. Assigning a date and function to simple weights such as this one is not easy, but lead weights do seem to have been most common in the medieval and post-medieval periods.

An incomplete cast Post-Medieval, c.AD1620-1680, trapezoidal double loop buckle. Probably made of a lead alloy, a dark greyish white metal in colour. A late Anglo-Saxon lead disc brooch of Weetch type 5. The brooch has a raised pellet at the centre that stands 2.20mm proud of the brooch surface and has a diameter of 4.42mm. Surrounding this raised pellet is a series of concentric circles. All of the fields between these circles with the exception of the first, that which surrounds the pellet, are segmented creating an effect of slightly raised circles and transverse lines with small trapezoidal depressed fields between. This formless fragment has been shown to staff at the Fitzwilliam Museum who agreed that the metal is a lead alloy and is not an ingot saying that it's date and original function, if any, is not possible to assertain.
