Possibly a half-penny of George I, AD 1714-1727. The obverse shows an unclear laureate and cuirassed bust right (the base of the bust is concavely curved, possibly more so that the busts of George I? The tie at the nap of the neck looks slightly wrong?). Obverse legend probably reads: GE[…] REX. The letters ‘R S’ are punch-stamped or incised over the bust.
