Fragments of the two outer sheet plates survive only at the knop where they are attached to the spacer by a rivet (in a paler green surfaced alloy). A complete late Neolithic to early Bronze Age flint scraper (c. 2700 BC-1601 BC). This opaque scraper, produced on a tertiary flake, is sub-rectangular in plan, sub-triangular in cross-section and has a striking platform. The dorsal face has been retouched all around except at the proximal end where it has been battered. The retouch is low-angled, short and parallel along the edges, semi-abrupt, short and parallel at the distal end. There is a notch on one edge that appears to be deliberate rather than accidental. The ventral face has a bulb of percussion but no conchoidal rippling…

A complete late Neolithic to early Bronze Age flint scraper (c. 2700 BC-1601 BC). This opaque scraper, produced on a secondary flake, is sub-rectangular in plan and sub-rectangular in cross-section. The dorsal face has about 65% flake removal and about 35% cortex. The dorsal face has been retouched all around except part of the right hand edge. The retouch is semi-abrupt, short, parallel and sub-parallel. The ventral face has been crudely retouched on the right and left edge. Cast copper alloy (probably leaded bronze) late Medieval to early Post Medieval vessel leg fragment probably from a skillet or similar. The leg section is triangular with slightly raised beaded angles. At the halfway point is a raised transverse collar from where it begins to taper evenly over its remaining length, forming a slightly larger triangular section foot. The back of the leg and foot are plain but the other two facets have a medial raised ridge. Traces of sooting remain on the surface. Length 58.6mm, triangular facets 19mm. Circa 1400-1600 AD

A post medieval coin weight for a quarter laurel (5 shillings) of James I (1603 - 1625) Third Coinage (1619-1625). The weight is square shaped in plan with chamfered edges. The obverse has a crown over the value mark 'V S' (5 shillings) set between three fleur-de-lis contained within a beaded circle. In the top left hand corner of the weight is a crowned 'I" countermark. The reverse shows a bearded laureate crowned bust facing left. The reverse beaded circle has over struck the flan. It has been formed on a secondary piece of black chert streaked with grey chert, possibly a worked out core from an earlier period as there is a variation in patination. Biconical lead steelyard weight, of probable Roman date. The upper side is in the form of a very shallow rounded cone, with the stubs of an iron suspension loop at the top, and the lower part is a more steep sided cone with a flattened tip. It has a diameter at the widest part of 45.4mm and is 38.2mm in height with an overall grey/white patination. It has several old marks where it has been hit by a plough or harrow. It weighs 380g, which would equate to approximately 14 uncia in Roman units. Similar weights have been recorded on the database as WILT-1EB292 and NLM-EEB636
