A quite corroded incomplete post medieval cast copper-alloy double loop buckle dating to c.1500-1650.
Description : one loop and the strap bar remaining, moulded rounded on the face with a flat reverse, forming a shallow D-shaped cross section. Angular moulded knops either side of the slightly narrowed and recessed strap bar. The surface has a corroded patchy green patina.
Measurements : length 28.4mm, width 23.6mm, thickness 3.2mm and weight 4.3g.
A similar buckle can be seen at Whitehead (2003) Buckles 1250-1800, p.54, no. 307.

An incomplete copper-alloy ansate brooch of Weetch's type IV, of middle early-medieval date (c.700-860).
Description: The brooch has two flattened square terminals with engraved square borders that contain diagonal cross motifs. These are connected by a short curved bow which is engraved with a row of three crosses. The reverse of one of the terminals has an integrally cast lug which has traces of an iron pin still attached to it. The opposite lug has a rectangular catchplate, one side of which curls around to secure the now missing pin.

A complete Cast unifaced circular lead alloy token. The token is decorated on the obverse side with the initial F in capital. The reverse is blank. The token is 23.66 mm in diameter, 2.37 mm thick and weighs 7.0 grams. Lead tokens with simple designs are very easy to make and continued in use for a long period; those with initials are generally thought to date to the post medieval period. (1550-1800 AD).
