A possible lid-part (consisting of the thumb-rest) from the two-part handle of a small post-medieval drinking vessel/ tankard, dating from about AD 1500 - 1800. The object is an oval plate which is smooth and concave on the outer face. Projecting from the reverse is a rounded lug perforated by an iron pin. This probably hinged with the vessel handle. A second lug probably once extended into a bar attached to the base of the lid.
There are traces of tinning on the upper face. Dimensions: Length 19.3mm, with 13.7mm, thickness 1.7mm, weight 4.25g.

Incomplete copper alloy Medieval transverse-folded single piece buckle plate. The thin plate is broken at the extremity of the fold where it would have originally looped around the strap bar of the buckle frame, and it is now in two separate halves. There is a central cut-away for the pin, with at the opposite end two roughly made rivet holes towards opposite sides of the plate. Incomplete Roman copper alloy Aesica rearhook brooch with the spring and pin missing, Mackreth 2011, AES 2.c. The wings are engraved with an oblique groove, and the bow with numerous grooved chevrons, the upper part with five (four facing upwards and one downwards), and the lower with a grooved saltire flanked by three chevrons on each side. Description: An incomplete silver Cufflink of Post-Medieval date (AD 1662–1714). 'Crown and Heart' Form 2, Type B. The cufflink element (one quarter of a pair of cuff links) consists of a single disc or cufflink element. The object is predominantly flat with the exception of the outer bevelled edges. The disc is sub-circular in shape, with breaks around the circumference. A sub circular loop is present on the rear. The front has been die stamped with a flaming heart cut by two arrow.

It is composed of a circular sections shaft, tapering to a sharp point to one end, with the opposing end retaining an incomplete loop. Incomplete and small Middle Iron Age copper alloy bow brooch. Almost all of the spring is missing. The arched bow is sub-circular-sectioned, and immediately beyond the narrow triangular catchplate the foot narrows markedly as it curls forward to a break. The reverted foot may or may not have been attached to the lower part of the bow. The loss of both ends prevents a firm position within the typology of Adams 2013 for this small example. Weight 1.5g. Extant length 35mm. Width and thickness of bow at mid-point 3 and 2.5mm. 3rd - 2nd century BC.

An incomplete copper alloy Trumpet type brooch dating to the Roman period (c. AD 75-175). The brooch has a circular head plate from which the bow extends, curving downwards at a 90 degree angle. A fragment of a Middle Bronze Age copper alloy dirk or rapier dating c. 1450-1150BC.
The triangular fragment forms the tip of a blade. It is lozenge shaped in section with a worn central midrib on each face. The blade is slightly bent. There is a worn transverse flat break, and the edges and surfaces are also worn and abraded. The object is pale green with patches of a dark green patina.

A complete Medieval copper alloy annular buckle dated c.AD1250-1450.
The plain frame is oval in cross section. The pin is rectangular in section with a curved hook at one end which wraps around the frame. The pin is decorated with a raised rectangular moulding with three transverse grooves on the upper surface just below the hook. There are diagonal file marks along the side of the pin. The buckle has a glossy mid brown patina.

Incomplete ceramic bar of tapering sub-square cross-section, broken (not recently) at the wide end. The surfaces are smooth and the fabric is hard, quite fine, dull pinkish with pale yellowish brown streaks indicating poor clay preparation, sparse mica, and one flint or chert inclusion 9mm across. The fabrics of most Roman kiln bars in this area of Norfolk are much coarser and often contain organic inclusions, but this is more likely to be a kiln bar of the Roman period than something more recent. Weight 227g. Extant length 123mm. 42 x 39mm at the break. 2nd - 4th century.

A complete post medieval iron horseshoe dating to c. AD 1650-1800 of the "keyhole" type.
The shoe is rectangular in section. The central aperture is approximately 'keyhole' shaped from which the type derives its name. The object has two visible sub-rectangular nail holes, a subtle full around the outer edge, due to corrosion infill. There is one clear caulkin retained. There is a large amount of corrosion adhering to the surface of the object.
Similar horseshoes are discussed in Clarke (1995), see for instance p. 121, no 222, but see also Sparkes (1976) O, pp.20-21.
