Copper alloy probably Roman to Early Medieval Unidentified Object. The artefact comprises a small rectangular strip of metal slightly curved in the vertical plane from end to end. One end is broken beyond a slightly raised collar angled from either side up towards the centre. On the body side of the collar there are symmetrical moulded triangular tapers to either side of the strip that form facets and accentuate two intersecting grooved lines that cross in saltire adjacent to the collar, extending over it to the break. A Late Mesolithic to Neolithic retouched flint blade, dating to 6000-2500 BC. It is a tertiary blade, which has been manufactured from a light grey flint core. It is sub-rectangular in plan and roughly trapezoidal in cross-section. It has been manufactured from a grey flint core by striking long flakes.The dorsal face is faceted, having a central longitudinal scar flanked by two parallel scars. An incomplete post Medieval copper alloy padlock, dating to c. AD 1500-1850. The case is circular, apart from two lobes at 11 and 1 o'clock which would have held the circular bar (now missing). The iron corrosion suggests that the bar was iron. The keyhole is slightly off centre is a rough heart shape. Above the keyhole is a separate rectangular plate decorated with a saltire - this plate probably would have slid up and down to prevent moisture seeping inside. Incomplete copper alloy Medieval horse harness bell pendant. Circa AD1300-1400. Broken across the suspension loop at the attachment end of a solid long shank, which expands at its base into four integral thin leaf 'petals' each with squared ends and clipped corners. The petals curve out and back to form a hollow spherical bell chamber, that still houses the pea. A rectangular gap where the petals meet at the base of the bell chamber acts as a sound hole. Cf. Griffiths 1986: 4, no. 20. Circa AD1300-1400.

A copper-alloy Roman Bucket mount of 1st-2nd century AD date. The mount is in the form of a bovine swing bucket handle mount. The mount consists of a large loop atop the head of a bull/cow. The top of the head has two horns protruding and sticking upwards. Below the horns to the sides of the heads are two ears. The face of the animal tapers to a snout. Across this are three transverse lines. Through the face of the animal are two iron studs which protrude from the back. The back of the head is hollow.

A copper-alloy and enamel Roman finger ring of Daubney 2008, The bezel is ovate in plan and has four indented circles. Two of the circles show the remains of red enamel. One of the circles has a hole worn through. The ring is broken at one shoulder and part way around the loop.

A bi-conical steelyard weight of Roman date. The weight is very worn at the top apex where there are two prongs where the iron loop had corroded. The bottom apex is complete with no iron remains suggesting this is a weight used to slide along the steelyard arm

A copper-alloy single loop 'kidney' shaped buckle of late Roman date. The buckle is a single loop with an indent on one side and a straight strap bar on the other. The strap bar with is the same as the main frame. The pin is a single strip of copper-alloy wrapped around the strap bar. The end of the pin might have some zoomorphic decoration.

Detachable fully round copper alloy side knob from the headplate of an early Saxon cruciform brooch. Sub-cylindrical in section with a flat attachment end and hemispherical terminal end. Waisted at a point approximately one quarter of the way along its length with an axial hole running from end to end to accommodate the iron axis bar. A small stub of the axis bar projects at the attachment end, with iron staining present at the other. Circa AD.480-530.

Post-medieval copper alloy asymmetrical double-looped buckle frame, one loop trapezoidal, the other D-shaped, with the loop of an iron pin on the bar, a slight lobe at the ends of the bar, and a leaf-shaped knop on the convex edge with veins depicted by an engraved central groove and flanking oblique grooves. Form similar to Whitehead 2003, no. 582. Length 28.5mm. Width 16.5mm. c.1575 - c.1700.
