An early medieval cast copper alloy hooked tag with a triangular plate with two rivet holes at the rear edge and a stump of a pointed hook at the apex. The plate is decorated with incised foliate ornament, possibly in the ninth century Trewhiddle Style, consisting of diverging lobes running from the rear edge to the point. An incised beaded border created with small wedge-shaped punches runs around the edge. The base of the hook appears to be zoomorphic in form, however the detail is now difficult to discern due to wear and corrosion and the tip of the hook has been lost. The surface …

An incomplete, copper alloy chape dating to the Medieval period, c. AD 1300-1500. The chape is formed from a folded sheet of copper alloy that is joined at a seam on the reverse. The tip of the chape is missing but two rivet holes survive on the reverse near the top edge, one iron rivet remains in situ. The chape is plain and undecorated and is crushed with uneven damaged edges. A glossy green patina remains in areas with pale green corrosion. An incomplete possible Medieval strap mount dating to circa AD 1150-1450. It is broadly hour glass shaped with a narrowed mid-section which tapers outwards to the terminals. The terminals are fantail shaped. The piece has flat faces with bevelled edges. The faces are plain. At each end are two circular rivet holes. One copper-ally rivet is intact. The other is missing and the rivet hole and terminal are incomplete; it is now survived by two stubs. Length: 32.8mm; Width: 5.7mm; Thickness: 1.8mm; Weight: 1.66g.
