An incomplete moulded figurative mount of probable Late Post Medieval to Modern dating (18th Century onwards). The mount is sub triangular in shape, with openwork details. The back is recessed. On the left hand side of the front, is a figurative person. The head is raised prominently away from the base of the mount. The detail for hair or a hat is uncertain. The eyes are circular and infilled with a dark material, possibly jet. A triangular nose is positioned between and below the eyes. The probable weight has been made from a long piece of square sectioned lead, wrapped in coil back onto itself to form a circular object. Both ends of the piece of lead taper to a blunt point. A complete Medieval cast copper alloy buckle with integral plate. The buckle, which retains the pin curled around the bar, has an oval frame with small knops either end of the rear edge of the loop. The plate has extensive corrosion to the surface which has removed any traces of decoration. The rear end is rounded and there are two rivet holes, one behind the pin hole and one at the rear end of the plate. Probably used with a set of spurs and circa 13th to 14th century.
