Medieval copper alloy tubular barrel padlock element. What has survived is the padlock end plate, bolt collar, and twin internal spines. There is no visible decoration but there are transverse wear grooves next to the end plate and bolt collar on one side. Spring-strip locks like this were usually opened with a sliding key and were probably used to secure chests or caskets. Examples of similar objects with details of their function are in Egan (1998), pages 91 to 94, figure 65. Dates to between c1150 and c1500 AD.

Early Post Medieval copper alloy hooked tag, a Read class E type 3 (Read, p.96, no.350). The central plate is circular with a small trapezoidal attachment loop projecting from top and the bottom of the plate extends into an integral rear facing hook. A double banded transverse collar is present at the junction between the plate and hook. The outer face of the plate has moulded relief decoration in the form of a flower with six petals around a central boss, within a raised circumferal border. Dates to between c1500 and c1700 AD.

Medieval copper alloy tubular barrel padlock element. What has survived is the cylindrical padlock case and the flat arm of a hasp that connects the case to the stump of the bar. The hasp has a roughly central circular perforation. The case, though probably octagonal when new, has been distorted through wear and crushing, probably post-depositional, but the damaged remains of the key hole are still visible above the hasp. Fragment of a possible post-medieval chafing dish. The object consists of a sub triangular pot support attached to a piece of the rim/ body of the dish, all with a green patina. The whole object is 43.24mm wide. The support is sub triangular, decreasing in width from the top attachment to the body and is 15.02mm at its widest, 22.93mm in length and 7.30mm thick. A complete copper alloy two piece Sporting / Hunt Livery button, dating from the late Post-Medieval - Modern period c.AD 1780 - 1850. The front of the button is convex and has the slightly raised design of a Fox's Mask facing. Around the edge of the button is a pattern of leaves and berries. The front edge of the button is crimped around the back half, which has a central loop, and is circled by the manufacturers name Hammond - Turner & Son. They specialised in making Buttons re :- Rural / Country Sports between AD 1820 and 1851.

A complete cast copper-alloy leather decoration mount of probable post medieval date (c.1500-1700).
Description: The body is lozenge-shaped in the centre with pointed trefoil terminals at each end with symmetrical side extensions on both sides of the central lozenge. The reverse is flat with one complete leather fixing spike in a bent over position and the remains of the base of another, both situated on the central axis. The surface has a shiny dark green patina.
Measurements: Length 27.4mm, width 13.0mm, thickness 1.7mm and weight 2.4g.
