Lead alloy discoidal Post Medieval unofficial trade or coin weight. 19mm in diameter, 2.6mm thick and weighing 5.75g. The front face is marked with XII in counter-relief surrounded by a crude wavy border. The roman numeral X is in the form of a saltire cross pommee, and the uprights have counter-relief pellets at each end and in the centre. As the weight is approaching that of a James I or Charles I shilling silver coin and is marked with XII, there is a possibility it was used for weighing this coin denomination. Circa AD1600-1700.

Copper alloy Medieval harness pendent hanger. T-shaped body consisting of a bevelled upright bar meeting halfway along an integral horizontal bar. Unusually the horizontal bar has an attachment prong at either end rather than the more common riveted arrangement - a similar pendant hanger with the same method of attachment can be seen at DUR-7DF359 on the Portable Antiquities Database. The terminal end of the upright bar has a bifurcated loop, in the centre of which is the extant remains of the harness pendant loop retained by a transverse pin. Circa AD1200-1400.

Copper alloy Medieval harness pendant. Narrow leaf or tear-shaped body with a hollow back and suspension loop set at the broader end, perpendicular to the plane of the object. The loop hole is filled with corrosion product, possibly from iron. The convex front face appears to be decorated in shallow relief but despite some extant gilding is too far corroded to determine any intended design. There is a small amount of the body missing at the toe end. A similar harness pendant still attached to its hanger can be seen at DOR-780685 on the Portable Antiquities Scheme database. Circa AD120…

A Medieval to Post Medieval cast lead alloy circular unifaced token. Powell Type 19. The token has a stylized raised design of a Horse. The reverse is plain. The token measures 14.67 mm in diameter, 1.46 mm thick and weighs 2.5 grams. Lead tokens had a wide variety of uses and were made locally; they are therefore hard to date precisely, although it is likely that this form is of late Medieval - Post Medieval date, c. 1250-1800 AD.
