Medieval sword or dagger pommel of 'scent-stopper' form (Ward Perkins 1940, 43 and fig.9, no.11). The convex top is moulded into eight triangular petals, their apices surrounding a central hole now blocked by the remains of an iron tang. Each triangle is separated from its neighbours by deep grooves containing lines of rocker-arm engraving, and curving grooves at the base of each also contain the same. Medieval copper alloy domed thimble with one circumferential engraved line near the base, forty-five vertical rows of six tiny round punched indentations, and eight concentric rings of the same below the conical top which is left plain. There is a single notch in the base. Parts of the outer surface are obscured by ferrous corrosion. Cf. Egan 1998, nos. 821-5. Height 13.5mm. Diameter c.16mm. 14th century.

Fragmentary and very abraded medieval sheet copper alloy flat mount, probably rectangular and from a strap. At the one intact end a rounded lobe is pierced by a cylindrical-headed rivet. The other end is missing as is almost all of one long side. On the gilt front face a faintly visible quatrefoil is outlined by engraved lines on a field of punched annulets. There is some resemblance to a less incomplete object from Norfolk (NMS-F52D86). Extant length 27mm. Width 19.2mm. Thickness 0.8mm. Length of rivet c.8mm, of which c.4mm project from the reverse. 12th century.

Medieval copper alloy probable badge, a circular sheet with eleven scallops around the edge, two wire loops attached to the reverse and a central convex-headed rivet which holds in place an incomplete, possibly once circular, piece of white laminated material which is almost certainly shell. The rivet's head is round, but a group of five minute grooves near the edge might perhaps have been intended to represent a scallop shell. An incomplete Roman copper-alloy horse and rider plate brooch dating to circa AD 200-400. The brooch missing its catchplate and pin, and the horse's head and chest missing.
