A copper alloy single loop buckle of the medieval period dating from AD 1200 - 1300, complete with pin. It is a 'projecting outer edge' type which has an oval frame with curved sides, an offset and recessed bar, and an expanded outer edge with concave sides, forming a wide projecting tab. The outer edge has a central grooved pin rest, flanked by a shorted groove on each side. The copper alloy pin is cut from sheet and is wrapped round the bar, tapering to a point ay the other end. An incomplete sheet copper alloy domed probable book fitting; a cover mount or boss, dating from AD 1300 - 1400. It is a raised convex dome of sheet copper alloy, with a flat hexagonal flange, damaged along one side. There are no rivet or attachment holes, but it is possible the plate or flange is incomplete. The dome is decorated with rocker arm or wigglework lines, which run across the flange and the dome, forming a star of six radiating arms.
