Two medieval shield-shaped sheet copper alloy strap ends (Egan and Pritchard 1991, 156-8), each with a bar-mount, two rivets and a single notch on both sides, late 13th - mid 15th century: - angled inside edge, mount of arched cross-section, square roves, length 15mm, width 11.4mm (mount 4.4 x 11.4mm). - almost straight inside edge, round aperture between the notches, D-sectioned mount, length 19mm, width 11.7mm (mount 3.4 x 12.7mm).

A heavily misstruck Medieval silver voided long cross penny of Henry III (1216-1272), class 5 uncertain sub class, dating to the period AD 1250 - 1275. Minted by Ion at Canterbury. This coin present with multiple double strikings, the most clearly of which shows the obverse die was rotated 35-40 degrees. Measurements: 17mm in diameter and 1.3g in weight.

Copper alloy single loop Medieval to post Medieval buckle. The frame is sub-rectangular with a narrowed straight strap bar, slightly concave sides and a double cusped outer loop forming a medial triangular strap rest with a cleft pin recess. The pin is extant but does not fit well and has slightly different lighter green patination to the frame; it is probably a replacement from the original. Circa AD1350-1550.

Medieval strap end formed from two similarly shaped pieces of copper alloy sheet secured by two rivets. The sides taper in a straight line from the straight inside edge before turning inwards to a small, rounded and slightly off-centred knop. Decayed leather, slightly less than 2mm thick, remains between the sheets for 10mm from the inside edge, but beyond a further 3mm the sheets are held tightly together. Length 29.7mm. Width 12.6mm. 14th century.

An incomplete cast copper-alloy Bronze Age socketed spearhhead dating c. 1500 - 800 BC. The fragment is sub-trapezoidal in shape and broadly bi-convex in cross-section. Both the terminal tip and the base are now missing, with just part of the mid-portion of the body remaining. The body is circular in cross-section at the centre where there is a distinctive raised mid-rib that extends along its length. Incomplete copper alloy Post Medieval trump, Jews or Jaws harp frame. Penannular loop extending to two long slightly diverging arms or prongs. The frame has a lozenge-shaped cross-section. Rabbet to rear of frame loop originally fixed the iron tang which was aligned between the two arms of the frame to a plucking device at the end. A very similar harp can be seen at DEV-FB6531 on the PAS database. Circa AD1550-1800.

A Post-Medieval Lead-tin alloy whistle, probably dating to AD 1700-1900. The whistle is broadly cylindrical, with one domed closed end from which projects a suspension loop; a collar divides the domed end from the main cylindrical body of the whistle. There is a notch caused by wear on the inner face at the centre of the bar. Length and width 22.8 and 16.5mm. Similar to Egan and Pritchard 1991, no. 421, although the ridges of the present example are thicker and the bar is offset and narrowed. Second half 14th century.

An Iron Age copper alloy hinged brooch, probably dating to 300-150 BC. The brooch is now incomplete, but originally probably consisted of a lozengiform frame with a relatively large circular lobe in each angle, decorated with a recessed ring-and-dot pattern. Traces of a possible coral inlay survive in the central 'dot' of one lobe. A transverse perforated double-lug projects from the reverse of one lobe, retaining an iron axis par and section of pin. Cleaver in very fresh, unrolled condition, of Wymer. J.J. (1999) type H, of orange and dark brown patinated flint from exposure to the iron oxides within sand and gravels. An oblique thermal crack runs from a coarse inclusion on the ventral face to the edges and links up right across the dorsal face, this shows as a thin black line, though it looks alarming, the flint appears to be quite intact.
