A copper-alloy bowl of uncertain dating, probably Roman in date. The circular bowl has a flat base and convex sides which have a raised floral pattern with scrolls and vines. The motif is crude in places with irregular and overlapping circular grooves The bowl is constructed from a circular disc on to which the sides have been joined, possibly by soldering as there are several gaps around the junction. The fragment is comprised of a single plate that is U-shaped and slightly convex plan and rectangular in cross-section. A raised rectangular knop expands from the base of the plate.
