A large but fragmentary section of a saddle quern or polissoir of potential prehistoric date (Neolithic - Iron Age 4000 BC - 250 BC). The fragment is incomplete but has a steeply sloping sides with a wide shallow central grinding space. In cross section it is V shaped. The stone is a mica rich sandstone which has spalled in places. The external edges are all worn and abraded. None of the original external edges are present. Incomplete copper-alloy enamel inlaid Roman stud. The head is disc-shaped with an enamelled front face. The enamel decoration comprises a central circular field of dark coloured glass, surrounded by a concentric ring of white or clear glass. It is undecorated with a mid-green patina and has a worn or corroded surface. An incomplete cast copper alloy 'pimple' button dating to the late medieval to early post medieval period (c.AD 1450-1600). The button has a spherical head that is undecorated. On the reverse is an integral attachment loop which is now incomplete, with only the stem surviving. The object has a light brown patina. A complete cast copper alloy 'pimple' button dating to the late medieval to early post medieval period (c.AD 1450-1600). The head of the button is round with a small apex at the centre which create a pimpled appearance. The reverse is flat and has an integral loop the centre which is complete but slightly bent towards one side. The button remains undecorated and has a light brown patina. Similar buttons are illustrated in Bailey (2004) see figs 7.23-7.28 p.28.

A post-medieval copper alloy finger ring, dating to the period c.AD 1600-1800. The band is roughly D-shaped in cross-section. It is thinner at the lower hoop and expands to form two thicker shoulders each side of the bezel. The shoulders exhibit moulded foliate decoration. The bezel is oval in plan, and is completely smooth. The hoop is circular in plan, and measures 20.99mm in internal diameter.
