The object is lozenge shaped in profile. The upper terminal is broken. The object has a very pitted and worn dark green coloured patina. The object is similar in form to WMID-7F26FA which was discovered in Shropshire. The object measures 48.9 mm in length, 12.4 mm in width, 4.8 mm in thickness and weighs 10.8 grams.

A complete copper alloy personal seal matrix of medieval date, about AD 1200 - 1300. It is conical in form. The die of the matrix is circular with a oval sectioned handle extending from the reverse. The handle tapers , then has a collar from which a pierced terminal projects. This is worn and appears circular now, but was probably lozelnge shaped originally. Traces of corner angles survive. It is circular with a slightly domed top, and flange projecting from the reverse, a few milimetres in from the edge. An incomplete copper alloy Colchester Derivative, Polden Hill type brooch dating to the Roman period (c. AD 75-175). The remains of the brooch consist of the head with flat wings, the top of the spring, the bow and part of the catchplate. The top loop of the spring is retained in the rearward facing hook at the apex of the head. The wings and bow are decorated in a rope-like motif. A fragment of melted copper alloy, probably metal working waste, of unknown date, probably Roman to Post Medieval, AD 43 - 1800. It is an irregular oval shape and has a pitted surface with bright green and brown patination. There are white powdery inclusions which have a linear structure at the edges. One surface is relatively flat, presumably from contact with the ground, while the other has spiky protrusions. This waste material is impossible to date, but is recorded as a potential indicator of metal working It is 92.2mm long, 31.8mm wide and 23.4mm thick. It weighs 130g.

The remains of the brooch are very worn and consist of the head with circular tube wings, part of the bow and the hinge. All other features are now missing. From the extant remains it is difficult to tell but the bow was probably undecorated. The overall dimensions are as follows: 26.9mm in length, 15.5mm in width, 14.6mm in thickness and 4.7g in weight.
