An incomplete lead-alloy pilgrim's ampulla dating from the Medieval period, c.1350-1500. The body of the ampulla is circular with an elongated rectangular neck extending from one edge, resembling a leather bag. The remains of two attachment loops project to either side of the neck where it meets the body. The opening at the top of the neck has been pinched shut. Traces of decoration can be seen on the surfaces of the body of the ampulla. An incomplete lead Modern seal of the Rippingille's Albion Lamp. Co. Ltd., dating to AD 1870-1950. It consists of a thick disc which has an iron fragment protruding from its edge. Both faces have a stamp depicting ALCo in the centre and the surrounding legend reading [RI]PPINGILLE'S curving clockwise and .PATENT. curving counterclockwise. A lead Post Medieval four-disc cloth seal, dating to AD 1500-1800. It consists of two pairs of adjacent discs which are linked by a connecting strip. The seal is folded along the strip in such way that the integral rivet of on one of the outer disc would go through the loop on the second outer disc. Copper alloy open mouthed bell, of probable Roman date. It is missing the clapper and is crushed and damaged with open tears & cracks to one side, but only minor loss. It is cone shaped with a slight flare at the mouth and a trilobed integral knop with a small lateral perforation at the apex. The side walls are decorated with an incised circumferential double line 6mm up from the base. An incomplete copper-alloy Medieval buckle, dating to AD 1250-1450. It consists of a strip of metal, which has been folded widthways and riveted at the centre and at the attachment end; the rivets are still in situ. The fold has slightly tapered sides and houses a fragment of the iron buckle pin bar; at the inner edge of the fold there is a circular hole for the missing pin, now blocked by corrosion and soil.
