Post Medieval lead alloy decade, or rosary, finger ring. The loop of the ring is decorated with ten knops with a large bezel at the top. The bezel (diameter 12.5mm) of the ring has no visible engraving. The loop has been distorted but the ring is otherwise complete and undamaged. Decade, or rosary, rings were most abundant during the period when recusant Roman Catholics where heavily penalised by the law. Decade rings were widely used in Lancashire, Yorkshire and Cumbria as a discreet way to maintain fidelity with their chosen form of worship. Probably dates from c1500 to c1725 AD.

An incomplete cast copper alloy object of unknown date or purpose. D-shaped in section, it begins and ends in old damage, with the sides running parallel before flaring out at the bottom where the damage has given it a roughly pointed end, though the original shape is impossible to determine. The front is decorated by a centrally-sited and inverted incised chevron. The rear is undecorated and has the stub of a transverse central lug situated at the widest point.

A post medieval or modern copper-alloy wire finger ring, dating to c. AD 1700-1900.
The hoop is made of three strands of flattened wire, which are then used as a base for an elaborate knotwork wreath made from a further two pieces of copper alloy wire, although these are more circular in cross section. The resulting bezel design is akin to a buckle or link, with the three base wires exposed in the centre.

A complete copper alloy signet finger ring of Post Medieval dating (AD 1600 to AD 1800). The finger ring has a circular shaped hoop, with a D shaped cross section. The bezel is oval shaped and separated, being secured on the back to the hoop. The bezel displays a design composed of multiple pairs of crescents, which are separated by a central vertical line. Post medieval copper alloy 'tombac' button, dating to AD 1700 - 1800. The button is in the form of a shallowly convex disc with a shallow 7.5mm diameter central concavity, abutting which is a border of engraved short radiating diagonal lines inside an engraved circle. The reverse has a small conical central boss with the stubs of a iron wire loop. It is 24.9mm in diameter and weighs 5.09g. The button is a shiny grey colour and there is no maker's mark.
There are many similar buttons in Bailey 'Buttons and fasteners 500BC - AD1840' which are dated to the 18th century

Piece of Hertfordshire Puddingstone quern, of probably first century AD, Roman date. "...Puddingstone is a conglomerate of flint pebbles in a siliceous matrix..." (Major, H. Lucerna 27, p.2.). The fragment retains a worn surface which would have been part of the grinding face. The piece is 59mm in height at its highest point. The length is 95.29mm. The weight is 392g. One of the surfaces is worn, evidence of its former use. The fragment retains a pink/purple colouration owing to the iron oxide in the original rock formation.

A lead probable weight of probable post medieval date, c. AD 1500-1900.
The object is formed from a cast irregular cube of lead, with some of the faces of the cube concave and others slightly flattened. There is a ridge across one face, possibly a mark from casting or a possible indication of the correct angle of usage. A number of similar lead objects, assumed to be weights, have been recorded on the database, including OXON-158F25 and NARC-2BDFE6, which is very similar with its irregular faces.
Measurements: 21.1mm length, 25.9mm width, weight130.29g.

A worn copper alloy Tavistock penny token of the modern period, dating to AD 1811-12. The obverse is extremely worn, but the arms of the Prince of Wales feathers (three plumed feathers with a crown), can be made out. The reverse depicts an engine house, possibly an example built in 1811 east of the Tamar opposite Gunnislake.
Measurements: 34.2mm diameter, 3.5mm thickness, weight 22.45g.

An incomplete cast copper alloy post medieval toggle clasp for a sword belt or hanger, dating from c.AD 1500-1700.
The plate, part of the main loop frame and one side loop survive. The plate is flattened in cross section and broadly rectilinear in form, with a scalloped edge which gives it a jagged appearance. The terminal of the plate is trefoliate in form, and this is folded over beneath the remainder of the plate, almost certainly post deposition. The wings and part of the bow survive.
