An incomplete copper alloy Medieval annular brooch possibly dating to the 13th century. The brooch is diamond- or square-shaped and the pin is missing. The frame is decorated with a border of punched rings running along the centre of each edge. The edges are bevelled and trapezoidal in cross-section. On one inside corner of the frame is a hole where the pin would have been attached. The reverse is undecorated. The brooch has a dark green patina. The brooch measures 15mm in length, 15mm in width, 2mm in thickness, and weighs 2.17g. A similar example can be seen in Read 2001 …

Post medieval copper alloy double-looped buckle complete apart from the pin. The buckle is somewhat asymmetrical with one loop having a narrower apex than the other. Both loops are decorated with seven incised grooves at right angles to the central bar. It is in good condition, is 32mm long, 29mm wide, 3mm thick and weighs 7.18g.

A complete copper alloy button dating to the post medieval period, c. AD 1550-1700. It is discoidal in shape and flattened in cross section, with a rectangular section rounded shank with drilled hole. The decoration depicts a nine pointed star which may represent the sun, with a circle at its heart. There are further accents surrounding the design but these are worn. Read (2005:34) no. 122 is very similar in form and decoration and comes from South Somerset Measurements: 14.9mm diameter, 1.3mm thickness, weight 1.24g.

A medieval to post medieval copper alloy harness ring dating to c. AD 1000-1800. The ring is flattened slightly on its upper and lower surfaces, with rounded edges. There are signs of wear at three distinct points, suggesting it may have been used at a point where three straps may have met, possibly on a bridle. There are suggestions of iron corrosion here which may represent other pieces of the harness which are now missing. A post copper alloy harness mount dating to c. AD 1600-1900. The mount survives with some damage to its perimeter. It is discoidal in shape, with a convex top. It has a single central lug which is lozenge shaped in cross section and tapers to a sharp point. Although the perimeter is damaged, there does appear to have once been a deliberate scalloped edge to the object. Measurements: 21.9mm diameter, 1.9mm thickness, weight 3.74g.
