A complete late Neolithic oblique (British oblique) flint arrowhead. This arrowhead has been created from a mid - dark brown coloured piece of flint. It is broadly triangular in plan and lentoid in cross section. The arrowhead has been knapped using a number of different techniques, including direct and indirect percussion, as well as pressure / ripple / invasive flaking. A silver thimble dating to the post-medieval period, c. AD 1650-1720. The thimble is of two-piece composite construction, formed of a main piece of silver sheet, curved to create a flared cylinder, surmounted by a shallowly convex dome (crown). The main body is squashed and damaged, with one end pushed out at the seam and the other pushed in and, further, suffering a loss at the base. An incomplete copper alloy furniture or box fitting of probable Roman date (c. AD 43-410). The upper part of the object is slightly biconvex with a cast horizontal line across the middle of the top. Below this section is an integrally cast waisted shank. As the base of the shank widens the handle terminates in a break. Iron remnants appear to adhere within the break. An incomplete iron Jews harp of probable Post-Medieval date, circa AD 1500 – 1800. The object consists of a circular head which extends into a pair of tapering arms, and a flat iron tongue still attached at the apex of the head. The bent prong of the tongue is now missing, lost in antiquity. Both the head and the arms are lozenge-shaped in cross-section. A complete Post Medieval pipe clay wig curler, dating circa AD 1650-1800. It is cylindrical in form and concave in the middle of its length, with a narrowed centre flaring out towards two bulbous terminals, which taper to flattened circular ends. A small fragment of a cast copper alloy handle from a copper alloy vessel, probably a skillet, of later medieval or early post medieval date (1300 - 1600). The handle is incomplete being broken at both ends. It is broadly sub-rectangular in plan with a slightly tapering section; it is broadly D shaped in cross section. The outer edge / upper part of the handle is decorated with a series of heavily worn ring and dot motifs (a small hollow within two concentric circles); these two (one complete, the other partial) are evenly spaced. A decorated copper-alloy disc, post medieval date (c. 1600-1850AD), almost certainly from a dress or skirt lifter. The disc is slightly concave with relief decoration on both sides. This decoration consists of a central floral motif with eight petals. In the central of this flower is the remains of a rivet. Radiating out for the central motif are eight spokes creating eight panels which are decorated with what appears to be another flower motif. An incomplete cast copper-alloy and enamelled Roman disc brooch (AD 100 - AD 200). The front face surface of the brooch is decorated with a central triskele pattern with a central flat annulet.
