A cast copper alloy finger ring fragment of likely Roman date AD 43-409. The fragment consists of one of the shoulders and a portion of the bezel where there is evidence of a circular or oval hole probably to house decorative stone or glass. C-shaped in section at the bezel and D-shaped at the hoop, the fragment is widest at the shoulder, narrows towards the hoop, and is decorated with two curved transverse grooves to the bottom of the bezel, the lower of which is a line of punched triangles, and with one longitudinal groove running close to each side of the hoop, and a fine groove …

A copper-alloy fragment of a spoon handle terminal of Post-Medieval date c:- AD.1550- 1650. This type of terminal, a baluster capped with a disc, is known as a seal-top. The object, similar to a pedestal, has a slightly oval base with a circular cross-section central column. At the top and bottom of the column are two collars, diameters of which are 5.05mm and 5.6mm respectively. Below the top collar is a triangular shape incorporated in the column.
