A fragment of a Roman cast copper alloy skeuomorphic plate brooch in the form of the sole of a shoe. The fragment represents the toe end and terminates in an old break. There are traces of a raised border, but no signs of enamel or any 'nails' on the sole. The stub of a catch plate remains on the reverse. Similar examples are illustrated in Hattatt, p.358, fig.217 and are dated to the 2nd Century AD. Length:20.8mm. Width: 8.4mm. Thickness: 3.4mm (max). Weight: 1.23g.

A flint borer of Mesolithic to Neolithic date, 9000 BC - 2200 BC. It is formed on a secondary flake which is triangular in cross section, and which tapers to a point. It is not possible to discern the original striking platform or proximal end. One face is mostly covered in cortex. There is scaled, invasive abrupt retouch on all three faces forming the point and edges. One end of one face is patinated, the retouch interrupting this. It is 51.2mm long, 19.1mm wide and 11.8mm thick. 7.8g

A post Medieval cast lead sub-circular uniface token, Powell type 3. Raised lines divide the decorated face into 6 segments and there is a central pellet. The reverse is flat and undecorated. There are two opposing casting sprues. Dating to c. AD 1600-1800. The token was folded in half when found. The unfolding of the token in order to identify it has resulted in creases on both faces. Diameter: 20.0mm (max, excluding sprues). Thickness: 2.6mm (max, excluding sprues). weight: 3.88g.
