An incomplete, copper-alloy late Iron Age to early Roman bow brooch of Colchester ‘one-piece’ type, dating to the 1st century AD. This artefact weighs 5.30g. The widest point of the brooch is across the wings. However, both wings are incomplete. The spring and pin is largely missing due to old breaks. Copper-alloy double-loop buckle frame of late medieval or early post-medieval date, now incomplete (worn breaks), together with the copper-alloy pin. One loop and a stub of the other survives. Both were oval with a white-metal coating on all sides. The surviving loop is D-shaped in cross-section, flaring slightly to the outside edge which is 4.3mm wide and 2.6mm thick. The whole frame is 22.5mm wide and 19.2mm long including the bar. The pin survives in place on the bar. An incomplete copper-alloy Medieval mount, dating to AD 1350-1450. It consists of a rectangular plate, which is pierced with three circular holes; two holes are at the ends and a wider one at the centre. One of the smaller holes hoses a copper-alloy rivet.
