An incomplete copper-alloy door knocker dating to the modern period, c. 1800-1900. The object is pear shaped, with a small protruding flat base off the main body at the bottom. It may be intended to be zoomorphic, representing the head of a large bird of prey, possibly an eagle or vulture. Object type: COIN
Broad period: MODERN
County: Somerset
Workflow stage: Awaiting validation Find awaiting validation
A post medieval milled copper alloy coin, proabably a penny, of unknown ruler, probably dating to AD 1780- 1900. Possibly forged, the coin appears to be made from a diverse metal with a copper alloy coating that has almost worn away. A patina, mainly yellow in colour, but some green present can be seen around the outside edges. This is slightly raised from the metal surface and may have been the surface coating upon the coin.

A cast lead standing or suspension weight. It is roughly round in plan and conical in form, with a concave base, pointed apex and tapering sides.
