A pair of copper alloy tweezers probably dating to the post-medieval period, c. 1500 - 1800. The tweezers are made of a sheet of copper alloy which has been folded over to create a loop which is crimped to obtain a sprung effect to make the tweezers operate. The arms of the tweezers are parallel along their entire length and the tips of the tweezers are rounded inward for optimum operation.
