An incomplete copper-alloy strap end of Medieval date, c.AD 1150 - 1450. The object comprises two flat plates which are broadly sub-rectangular. One short edge has a rounded projecting knop at the centre and the opposing end has a terminal which is pointed at the centre. one of th eplates is damaged and incomplete at this ned. Both plates are undecorated. There are many similar strap ends recorded on the PAS database; compare (NMS-7D05FC) discovered in Norfolk and (YORYM-41C636) discovered in North Yorkshire. An incomplete copper alloy end looped cosmetic mortar, dating to Late Iron Age to the Early Roman dating (1st to 2nd Centuries AD). The mortar is formed from a curved piece of copper alloy. The mortar has a U shaped cross section. It has a suspension loop situated at one end. The mortar then tapers slightly to the opposing end which has a rounded terminal. A Post Medieval to modern circular copper alloy weight, of uncertain dating. The weight is circular with a perforated centre. It is stamped with 1/2. It is uncertain what the weight was used for with no known parallels on the PAS database. The surfaces and edges are worn so it has probably lost some of its original weight. The object has a green coloured patina. The weight measures 30.8 mm in diameter, 5.5 mm in thickness and weighs 23.5 grams.

There is one long arm that extends from the circular head and curves back on itself to a rounded hook. The remaining arm slighly expands and flares towards the hook end. A Post-Medieval copper alloy double-looped buckle, dating to AD 1550 - 1650. The buckle is complete apart from the pin. The buckle is formed of two symmetrical D shaped loops. The frame has a trapezoidal cross section. The centre bar is narrowed from the frame with a pointed knop at either end and has a trapezoidal cross section. The outer edges of both loops are knopped and decorated with a moulded sexfoil motif. The rear is undecorated. The buckle is in good condition, is 43mm long, 25mm wide, 3mm thick and weighs 5.55g. An incomplete copper alloy buckle plate dating to the medieval period, c. AD 1200-1350. The object consists of a folded sheet of copper alloy which has been pierced by five rivets, arranged in two pairs flanking a central rivet. One cylindrical rivet survives in position but the remaining four are now missing. The two external rivet holes are placed at the break, which has rendered them semi circular on one side. The sheet now forms a rectangular shape. Egan and Pritchard (1991: 77) illustrate a possibly similar example dated to their ceramic period 9, which relates to 1270-1350.…

A fragment of a copper alloy strap end of medieval date, c. AD 1350-1400. One half of the two plates of the strap end survives. The surviving part is triangular in plan, with a flattened tip and shoulders affecting the line of the triangle. It is flattened in cross section. There is a circular rivet which is placed at the centre of the broadest point of the strap end. This is now surrounded with decay and would once have been iron, but its base still survives and its cylindrical shape is discernable.
