A complete but misshapen Medieval copper-alloy buckle pin (c. 1270-c. 1400). The shaft and open loop are ā€˜Dā€™-shaped in cross-section, flat on the underside. On the upper face, between the shaft and loop, there is a narrow transverse rmoulding. The tip of the shaft is undercut and smooth on the underside due to being in contact with the frame. This pin is corroded and has patches of a shiny dull green patina. Length: 45.0mm; width: 4.0mm; thickness: 13.6mm. Weight: 4.99g. An incomplete copper alloy Roman (AD 43-410) lock pin, consisting of a flat circular head and incomplete rectangular-sectioned shaft. The head measures 17.2mm in diameter and 5.8mm thick, and has a deep V-section groove running around the centre of the circumference. A fragment of Late Bronze Age (1150-800 BC) socketed axehead, consisting of the cutting edge only and broken at the very end of the socket. The cutting edge is curved and the 'corners' of it splayed. Both faces are heavily pitted and a bluey-green in colour. The base of the socket measures 28.6mm in length and 1.5mm in width at the worn break, which shows a lentoid or elongated pointed-oval cross-section. The fragment measures 19.8mm in length, 49.8mm in max.width, 8.9mm in max.thickness (at the break), 1.3mm in min.thickness (at the cutting edge) and weighs 29.38g.

A copper alloy mount, perhaps from furniture, depicting a bird in flight and dating probably to the post-medieval period (c.1700-1900). The bird has outstretched wings, a long neck, and the head is turned to its left slightly. The underside of the body shows an integral, squashed rivet for attachment between two moulded 'feet' areas. The metal is badly pitted and much of the decoration is lost, but feather detail is just visible on the undersides of the wing and tail. An incomplete silver post medieval whistle dating from about AD 1500 - 1650. The tubular whistle is made of silver sheet and soldered lengthways along an abutting seam. A collar of spiralled silver wire divides the whistle into two sections. Comparison with more complete examples suggests there would have been a second wound wire collar and third section, now missing. A complete but damaged lead-alloy papal bulla of Pope Nicholas III dating to the medieval period. Nicholas III was Pope from 25 November 1277 to his death on 22 August 1280. The obverse of the bulla is stamped with the faces of the saints Peter and Paul within a border of raised pellets. Above the heads within the border, the saints' abbreviations would be visible with 'SPA' for St. Paul to the left and 'SPE' for St. Peter to the right (SPA = Sanctus Paulus, SPE = Sanctus Petrus). A fragment of a medieval to Post-Medieval copper alloy purse bar, probably dating to AD 1450-1600. The framgent comprises of one arm of the bar. The arm is circular in cross section and projects from the jaws of a debased zoomorphic moulding. The arm constricts at the terminal end terminating in a separate trapezoidal knop serving as a rove. Two Secondary, hard hammer struck flakes with the distal end and one lateral edge steeply retouched to form the scraping edge. One is unpatinated black flint, likely to be of Later Neolithic date, 44 x 41.5 x 10 mm, 20g. The other is patinated white and grey with spotty iron stains to some of the flake ridges, likely to be of Early Neolithic date, 52.5 x 41 x 15 mm, 35 g. 4,000 to 2351 BC.

A fragment of a cast copper alloy Roman finger ring dating to c.AD 200-300. The object consists of just the bezel and shoulders. There is no apparent decoration or any markings on the object. The bezel is circular and is recessed which perhaps indicates it once contained an intaglio. It is likely classed as a Henig Type 2 or 3, dating to the 3rd century.
