The platform and core face make the tip for either a point or an arrowhead. A cast lead alloy weight dating to the psot medieval period, c. 1600-1800. The object is circular in plan and has a raised outer perimeter ridge. There are a series of lathe turned inside circles on the upper surface. In the centre is a rose motif, with three large petals around a central circle. Around this flour is an inscription, which reads "IOHN CLINTON," possibly the maker of the object, or possibly its owner. There is a further lathe turned circle on the reverse surface. The upper face is stamped with the Royal cypher mark for Charles I and an ewer (the stamp of Arms of the Founder's Company of London who were given the right to size by Royal Charter.
