A silver coin of the Roman period: a denarius of Trajan (AD 98-117) struck AD 98-102 (Reece period 5). P.M.TR.P.COS I[---P.P]. Concordia seated left, holding patera and double cornucopia; before her, an altar. Mint unknown. RIC 2, 33, or 55. The consulship number is illegible (from the image, at least) and might be COS II (RIC 2, AD 98-99), COS III (RIC 33, AD 100), or COS IIII (RIC 55, AD 101-102). The coin, which is abraded, has a diameter of 18.2mm, a thickness of 1.8mm, and weighs 1.83g.

Two copper alloy Post Medieval harness or strap fittings. The mounts are asymmetrical in plan comprising a central tapering sub-triangular body with integral trefoil knops at one end and a rounded knop at the other. The reverses are undecorated and have two integral attachment lugs which are of variable but largely rectangular cross-section. Close to a matching pair they were found only a few metres apart. Circa 17th century.

A complete Medieval copper alloy finger ring dating to c.1350- c.1400 AD. The finger ring is composed of a flat rectangular sheet soldered with a lap joint. It is D-shaped in form as it has been damaged and half of hoop is bent inwards. The outside is decorated with a repeated pattern of incised lozenge and dot motifs. A Bronze Age axe fragment that possibly dates to c.1150-800 cal BC. The fragment represent the blade of an axehead. The blade edge is convex with a crescent blade and a pointed oval (vesica) in cross section. It narrows from this blade before terminating in a horizontal regular break that is now very abraded. The axehead has a thick layer of light brown green patination chipped away in places to reveal a medium green colour beneath. An incomplete Post Medieval copper-alloy finger ring, dating to c. AD 1650 - 1750. The bezel and shoulders remain and are D shaped in cross section. The bezel is flat and oval. It is slightly recessed and the outer edge is decorated with a knurled ridge. The recess is shallow, somewhat irregularly carved out and the surface covered in ridges and grooves. The recess may have held enamel. The shoulders of the ring are decorated with an incised saltire cross on each. Each terminates in an old break.
