A copper alloy trade token of the post medieval period, dating to c. 1650-1700. The token is circular in plan and flattened in cross section. Very little survives of the original design, although in the centre of the obverse face is a possible shield with a central lis. There is a single record in Williamson (1967 no. 93) for a token with two crowned hands, from Hemel Hempstead in Hertfordshire, although there is no mention of any shield or lis device. 18.1mm diameter, 0.9mm thick, weight 1.95g.
