A circular section shaft extends from the base of the head and tapers to a rounded point. It is obliquely bent at a point one-third of the way along the shaft, from the head. An incomplete copper-alloy pin of Early-Medieval date, c.AD 700 - 900. The pin has a flat disc-shaped head, with four ring-and-dot decorated stamped in a lozenge-shape. The reverse is undecorated. From the base of the head a rectangular-sectioned shaft is broken close to the head. The metal has a pale brown patina, mottled with patches of pale green. The pin survives to a length of 15.6mm.
