Copper alloy rectangular sheet buckle plate that is folded in half allowing it to be wrapped the buckle. Unfortunately, the half that would have formed the rear plated is missing having been truncated at the fold leaving two short rectangular tabs on the forward edge. A complete copper-alloy seal matrix of medieval date, AD 1300-1400. The die of the matrix is circular with a tapering hexagonally faceted handle extending from the reverse. The handle terminates in a sub-circular loop with central perforation which would have served as a means of suspension. A raised circumferential collar is present where the handle extends into the loop. A copper-alloy Medieval seal matrix, dating to AD 1200-1300. It is flat and pointed-oval in shape, and bears a circular loop on its back. The seal depicts an unclear central motif, possibly a squirrel, surrounded by an illegible inscription. Length: 27.46 mm, Width: 17.50 mm, Thickness, including loop: 8.22 mm, Thickness, excluding loop: 2.50 mm, Weight: 4.17 g. This type of seal matrix is likely to be a personal one, although the squirrel motif appears to be later and related to impersonal matrices.
